A F.A.R.M.S. A F.A.R.M.S.

A F.A.R.M.S passou a fazer parte formal da Universidade Brigham Young por convite de Gordon B. Hinckley, Presidente d'A Igreja de Jesus Cristo dos Santos dos Últimos Dias e diretor da B.Y.U. Board of Trustees.

O Neal A. Maxwell Institute for Religious Scholarship (N.A.M.I.R.S. - Instituto Neal A. Maxwell Para Estudos Religiosos) é operado pela Universidade Brigham Young, a qual consolidou a F.A.R.M.S. com o Center for the Preservation of Ancient Religious Texts (C.P.A.R.T. - Centro Para Preservação de Antigos Textos Religiosos) e o Middle Eastern Texts Initiative (M.E.T.I. - Iniciativa Textos do Oriente Médio) para formar o Institute for the Study and Preservation of Ancient Religious Texts (I.S.P.A.R.T. - Instituto Para o Estudo e Preservação de Antigos Textos Religiosos), que foi renomeado como Neal A. Maxwell Institute for Religious Scholarship em 2006.

O irmão Welch é o atual Editor Chefe do periódico BYU Studies.
